How Secure is FlockNote?

The Archdiocese of Brisbane has evaluated the security of data stored in FlockNote and is satisfied that all data is secure on the system. All login’s into your data using your email is secure by requiring two factor identification (i.e. you are emailed a code each time you login which must be used to access the system).

Is my information private?

All information held by the Archdiocese, including in FlockNote, is covered by the Archdiocesan Privacy Policy and applicable State and Federal legislation. The Privacy Policy may be viewed on the Archdiocesan website.

How will the Parish communicate with me through FlockNote?

All mail from the parish through FlockNote will come from Mail@FlockNote.com. Make sure your email system does not flag this email address as Junk email.

What information am I required to provide via FlockNote?

At a minimum we need your name and your email so that we can communicate with you via FlockNote. All other information you provide is at your discretion. Obviously the more information you provide (address and other household members for e.g.) helps us to help you better. We will never ask for, nor store, any sensitive information (such as Credit Card details, etc) via parish emails – whether the emails are from FlockNote (mail@Flocknote.com ) or via any other parish email. If you get such requests please let us know and treat the request with suspicion. NOTE: from time to time you will get a request in our mailings from Mail@FlockNote.com for you to check and update your information held by us. To do the update you can login securely to Flocknote using the two factor authentication and check and update (if required) your contact information.
